Hawaiian Airlines, UH Athletics extend longstanding sponsorship, football charter agreement

The University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa and Hawaiian Airlines have renewed their longtime partnership with a multi-year sponsorship, and entered into a charter agreement to fly the Rainbow Warrior football team for away games during the 2025 season – starting with today’s departure to Tucson for the team’s game against the University of Arizona on Saturday.
As the “Official Airline of UH Athletics” Hawaiian Airlines will welcome onboard student-athletes, coaches and staff representing the university’s 21 varsity athletic programs in competitions on the U.S. continent. Hawaiian has been a sponsor of UH Athletics for more than 30 years.

Throughout the season, Hawaiian will continue to surprise and delight fans on and off the court/field at game-day activations, media promotions, and via Flying with the Bows social content featuring student-athlete insights and in-flight giveaways.
Hawaiian, a Diamond Level partner of UH Athletics, will title sponsor the 2025 Rainbow Wahine Volleyball Classic on Aug. 29-31. Fans can tune in on television via Spectrum OC16 and on radio via ESPN Honolulu.
The UH Athletics and Hawaiian Airlines marketing sponsorship is managed by Hawaii Sports Properties, the university’s athletics multimedia rightsholder and Honolulu-based LEARFIELD team.
