The Seattle Mariners™ have chosen Alaska Airlines to provide charter flights for the club’s road games in 18 West Coast and Midwest cities. The charters are scheduled throughout the regular season to Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Kansas City, Mo., and Minneapolis, as well as to cities up and down the West Coast.

"The Seattle Mariners and Alaska Airlines are two Northwest originals. Alaska Airlines has been an important corporate partner of the Mariners for many years, and this charter agreement is a natural extension of that relationship," said Bob Aylward, Seattle Mariners executive vice president of business operations.

"Alaska Airlines is proud to transport our hometown team and provide a customized onboard experience," said Steve Jarvis, Alaska’s vice president of marketing, sales and customer experience.

The airline will offer Mariners players, coaches and staff a pre-departure buffet and special onboard meal service including Pacific Northwest foods such as Tillamook® Cheese, Tim’s™ Cascade Chips, OhBoy! Oberto Teriyaki Sticks and select desserts from Seattle-based Parisian Star Desserts.

Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air together serve 92 cities through an expansive network in Alaska, the Lower 48, Hawaii, Canada and Mexico. For reservations, visit alaskaair.com. For more news and information, visit the Alaska Airlines/Horizon Air Newsroom at alaskaair.com/newsroom.
