Alaska Airlines to fly nonstop between Anchorage and Spokane, Washington, starting June 11

SEATTLE, Jan. 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — Alaska Airlines will begin weekly nonstop service between Anchorage, Alaska, and Spokane, Washington, starting June 11 through August 27, 2016.   

"Alaska Airlines is excited to introduce the first ever nonstop service between Spokane and Anchorage for the peak summer travel season," said John Kirby, the airline's vice president of capacity planning. Flights will be operated by fuel-efficient Next Generation 737 aircraft. Onboard, customers will enjoy Pacific Northwest-inspired food and beverages, such as Beecher's Flagship cheese, and exclusively blended Canoe Ridge wines.
