SEATTLE, Sept. 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Alaska Airlines launched its Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD) sale today, featuring savings on air fares for residents of the 49th state to get away to over 100 destinations. The special PFD rates are on routes within and from the state of Alaska for travel purchased by Oct. 30, 2014.

"Alaska Airlines' PFD sale features some of the best fares of the year. All fares are one way and valid for travel beginning Oct. 14, 2014, through April 20, 2015, except for some markets as listed below, which have different start and completion dates. Travel requires a 14-day advance purchase.

Fares are nonrefundable, are priced in U.S. dollars, and include all applicable taxes, fees and charges based on one-way travel.  Tickets must be purchased by Oct. 30, 2014, for travel commencing on Oct. 14, 2014, except for travel to/from Austin, Atlanta, Baltimore, Bozeman, Chicago and Omaha, where travel must commence no earlier than Oct. 25, 2014.  Travel must be complete by April 20, 2015, except for travel to/from Bellingham, Boston, Cordova, Newark, Los Angeles, Missoula, Phoenix, Kotzebue, Yakutat, where travel must be complete by March 3, 2015.
