Alaska Airlines will resume its daily nonstop service between Seattle and Miami International Airport on Oct. 29.
From Seattle, Alaska Airlines’ Flight 16 will depart at 10:15 p.m. Pacific time and arrive in Miami at 6:45 a.m. Eastern time. From Miami, Flight 17 will depart at 8 a.m. Eastern time, arriving in Seattle at 11:40 a.m. Pacific time. The flights provide convenient connecting service to and from points throughout the Pacific Northwest.
The route will be served by Boeing 737-800 aircraft with leather seats, 16 in first class and 144 in the main cabin. The flights include complimentary hot snack or meal service.
Alaska has not flown to Miami since July 4. The Miami route was one of eight round-trip flights temporarily removed from Alaska’s summer schedule to improve overall on-time performance and schedule reliability.
The carrier inaugurated service to Miami in November 2002.
