Alaska Airlines announced today that Lane Kemper has been named managing director of customer service – call centers, where she will oversee the carrier’s customer call centers, including Reservations and Customer Care.

Kemper, who has 24 years’ experience with Alaska Airlines, started her career as a part-time employee in the Accounting Department while completing her college degree. Kemper served in various positions, including manager of credit collections, before moving into Reservations, where she worked in Phoenix and, most recently, in Seattle as director of reservations.

"Lane has worked on a wide range of projects that have improved services for customers," said Steve Jarvis, Alaska Airlines’ vice president of marketing, sales and customer experience. "Coupled with her strong track record in accounting and reservations, this makes her the perfect individual for the job."

Kemper holds a bachelor of science degree in marketing from Central Washington University. She also is involved in the community, including volunteering at the annual fundraiser for Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle.
