SEATTLE, June 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Alaska Airlines will inaugurate daily service between Seattle and Colorado Springs, Colo., starting Nov. 1, and between Seattle and Omaha, Neb., starting Nov. 7. The carrier will also add nonstop flights between Portland, Ore., and Tucson, Ariz., starting Nov. 1, and between Portland and Reno, Nev., starting on Nov. 8, 2013.

To celebrate the new flights, Alaska Airlines is offering introductory one-way fares starting from $129* between Seattle and Colorado Springs; $169* between Seattle and Omaha; $89* between Portland and Reno; and $129* between Portland and Tucson. The new PortlandReno flights will be flown for Alaska Airlines by Horizon Air using a 76-seat Bombardier Q400. The remaining flights will be operated by SkyWest Airlines using a 70-seat CRJ-700 regional jet. Customers flying on flights operated by Horizon and SkyWest can enjoy free soft drinks and Starbucks coffee, A la Cart planeside baggage service, and complimentary Northwest wine and microbrews for passengers 21 years and older.

Alaska Airlines last operated between Portland and Reno in 2009 and also served PortlandTucson in 2003.
