Hawaiian celebration at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport celebrates first
Seattle-Honolulu flight WHEN: Friday, Oct. 12, 7 a.m. Pacific time WHERE: Gate C-9, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport WHAT: Alaska Airlines will inaugurate its new service to Hawaii with a Hawaiian-themed celebration at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Beginning Friday, Alaska Airlines will operate daily flights between Seattle and Honolulu. Passengers will be welcomed aboard the first Hawaii flight following a traditional Hawaiian Kahuna blessing and Hawaiian music performance. The airline also will offer nonstop service between Seattle and Lihue on the island of Kauai beginning Oct. 28, and between Anchorage, Alaska, and Honolulu starting Dec. 9.
