Alaska Airlines has unveiled a new "Low Fare Calendar" search option on its Web site that quickly displays the lowest fare available for a chosen destination over a range of dates. Cost-conscious passengers with flexibility in their travel schedules now have one convenient place on alaskaair.com to find advertised specials and everyday low fares without having to search by individual dates.

The Low Fare Calendar is simple to use. When booking a reservation online, customers select their preferred dates of travel and choose the Low Fare Calendar search option. A calendar view shows passengers the lowest fare available for their chosen destination for each remaining day of that month.

"With Low Fare Calendar, we are making it easier for our customers to find the best price available for the days they want to travel," said Steve Jarvis, Alaska Airlines’ vice president of marketing, sales and customer experience. "We have always had some of the lowest fares in the industry. This tool gives customers a reason to shop first with Alaska Airlines because they can see our lowest fares across a range of dates at a glance."

Customers have the ability to search for one-way or round-trip flights and then filter the display to show first class fares only, if desired. In addition, an easy-to-use trip summary table calculates the total fare. The Low Fare Calendar is also available for booking flights to Mexico and with Alaska Airlines’ partners, however, results are shown for a three-day window.
