Alaska Airlines’ popular Permanent-Fund-Dividend (PFD) sale is underway, offering significant savings on airfare and complete vacation packages.

The airline’s PFD sale includes savings of up to 25 percent for most in- state travel to or from Anchorage, Fairbanks and Juneau. Alaska Airlines’ sale offers additional savings on select routes between many points throughout the state to the Lower 48 states, Canada and Mexico. PFD recipients can also take advantage of 10 percent savings on complete vacation packages from Alaska Airlines Vacations.

Airfare reservations are available now at alaskaair.com and Alaska Airlines’ toll-free reservation line at (800) ALASKAAIR or (800) 252-7522. Reservations may also be made through travel agents. Sample one-way fares include:

To take advantage of the PFD airfare sale, tickets must be purchased by Nov. 2, 2006, and travel must be completed by Sept. 6, 2007. PFD fares are valid on one-way and round-trip travel with no maximum-stay requirements, no blackout dates and no extra costs for peak-day or seasonal travel. PFD fares do not require a PFD batch card or check stub.

PFD recipients who book a complete Alaska Airlines Vacations package online at alaskaair.com can enjoy a 10-percent discount and earn 1,500 bonus miles per person. To take advantage of the PFD discount on vacation packages, customers should use the promo code AS06AKPFD. Packages must be purchased by Dec. 31, 2006, and travel must be completed by Aug. 31, 2007.

   *    For PFD airfare sale: A 14-day advance purchase is required. Tickets
        must be purchased by Nov. 2, 2006, and completed by Sept. 6, 2007.
        No blackout dates apply. One stopover permitted in each direction
        per standard published fare and routings. Tickets are nonrefundable
        but may be changed for a $50 change fee and any applicable change in
        fare. Changes to itineraries that include travel provided by code-
        share partners, once travel has started, are subject to the rules,
        fees and fares of the carrier providing transportation. Portions of
        itineraries may include service on Horizon Air or code-share
        partners American AirlinesĀ®, American EagleĀ®, Continental
