Alaska Airlines and the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA today jointly announced a tentative agreement on a proposed two-year contract extension for the airline’s 2,830 flight attendants.

The proposal to extend the contract through April 2012 was presented late yesterday to union members for review and a ratification vote. The ratification process is expected to be completed by mid-March.

Currently, the contract is amendable on May 1, 2010.
