(NYSE: ALK) today reported April and year-to-date operational results for its subsidiaries, Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air, and on a combined basis. Detailed information is provided below. ALASKA AIRLINES – MAINLINE Alaska reported a 4.3 percent increase in traffic on a 4.3 percent increase in capacity compared to April 2013. This resulted in a flat load factor of 86.8 percent. Alaska also reported 90.1 percent of its flights arrived on-time in April, compared to the 86.8 percent reported in April 2013. Horizon also reported 93.3 percent of its flights arrived on-time in April, compared to the 89.3 percent reported in April 2013.
