Rindlaub will retire from the company's board of directors when his term expires June 12,... Alaska Air Group, Inc. , the parent company of Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air, announced that John V. Rindlaub will retire from the company’s board of directors when his term expires June 12, 2007. Rindlaub has served as a director since 1996 and is a member of the audit committee. The board will not fill Rindlaub’s position. Instead, the board voted April 25, 2007, to reduce its size from 12 to 11 members upon Rindlaub’s retirement.
