Lindsay‑Rae McIntyre is Chief People Officer at Alaska Airlines, where she leads the company’s talent strategy, total rewards, employee experience, employee relations, leadership development, culture, and HR operations. In this role, she supports Alaska’s vision to connect people to the world through a remarkable travel experience rooted in safety, care and performance.
Lindsay‑Rae brings more than 28 years of human resources and organizational leadership experience, with deep expertise in strengthening culture, supporting frontline teams and leading complex global organizations. Most recently, she served as Chief Diversity Officer and Corporate Vice President of Talent and Learning at Microsoft, where she helped shape enterprise‑wide talent, learning and workforce strategies.
Earlier in her career, Lindsay‑Rae spent more than 20 years at IBM, where she led global HR teams and lived and worked in the United States, Asia and the Middle East. Across her career, she has focused on talent acquisition, leadership development, and workforce strategy to enable teams and build strong, values‑driven cultures at scale.
Lindsay-Rae grew up in an airline family – her grandfather and uncle flew for Air Canada, and her grandfather was one of the airline’s first 747 pilots. He taught her that people get on an airplane for a reason, and that our responsibility is to get them where they’re going safely and make it a great experience.
Lindsay-Rae graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned an MBA in International Business from Duke University.
