News alert: Internet connectivity

Update 11:35 p.m.

An earlier network outage has been restored. Customers are now able to book, change and check in for flights at alaskaair.com.

An Internet connectivity issue at 8 p.m. temporarily delayed 22 flights scheduled to depart between 9:45 – 11 p.m. by up to an hour. All systems were restored by 11:20 p.m. and we are working to restore our operation.


Update 10:55 p.m.

Call centers are experiencing extremely high call volumes at this time. Customers are urged to follow our blog for the most up-to-date information.​

Our IT technicians are working to fix the issue as quickly as possible. We are starting to see some improvements, but do not have an update as to when all systems will be back online.

We apologize for any inconvenience this is causing to our customers.


Update 10:10 p.m.

Alaska Airlines is currently experiencing Internet connectivity issues. Currently, we are unable to process transactions at our Call Center and on alaskaair.com, and are experiencing some flight delays.

We are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible and urge customers who are traveling tonight to follow us on our blog for the most current information. We apologize for the inconvenience.
