In celebration of more than 15 years of service in the Hawaiian Islands, Alaska Airlines is partnering with Hawaiʻi-based illustrator, Shar Tuiʻasoa of Punky Aloha Studio to design our second special-edition painted aircraft in honor of the Aloha State. The artwork for the new aircraft will reflect Hawaiʻi’s Pledge To Our Keiki and will be revealed later this year.

Our employees are (literally) out of this world! Meet First Officer Nicholas Patrick who came to Alaska after a career in space exploration – including time as an astronaut for NASA. Alaska Airlines expands our San Diego network with new coast-to-coast nonstops
Starting June 15, Alaska guests can enjoy nonstop flights from San Diego to Washington, D.C. and Tampa. We’re also adding new daily nonstop service between San Diego and Eugene, Oregon.
With the E175 flying Horizon’s future, we bid farewell to the Q400
The Embraer 175 jet or E175 is now the sole aircraft flown at Horizon Air, Alaska Airlines’ long time regional airline sister company, as we continue to modernize our fleet. The last commercial flight of the Q400 was on Jan. 26 between Spokane and Seattle.
