Alaska Airlines announced today that the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAMAW) has presented its membership with two-year contract extension proposals for the carrier’s 2,800 clerical, office and passenger service employees, and its 625 ramp service and stores agents.
The proposals would extend the contracts through July 2012. Other terms of the agreements are being withheld pending union membership review and ratification votes, which are expected to be completed by mid-December. Currently, the two IAM contracts are amendable on July 19, 2010.
