SEATTLE, May 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Customers can now book travel on Alaska Airlines for seasonal service between Seattle and Cancun, Mexico. Pending approval by the Mexico Direccion General de Aeronautica Civil (DGAC), the airline plans to begin its daily service to Cancún on Nov. 6.
Alaska is offering introductory $199* one-way fares on Seattle–Cancun tickets purchased by May 15, for travel between Nov. 6 and Feb 10, 2015. Flights are available for purchase today at www.alaskaair.com or by calling 1-800-ALASKAAIR (1-800-252-7522 or TTY/TDD line 1-800-392-0228).

With the new flights, Alaska Airlines will now offer 279 peak-day departures nonstop to 79 destinations from Seattle, more than any other carrier. This fall, Alaska will operate nearly four times as many flights out of Seattle than any other airline.
When approved, the Seattle–Cancun route will be operated with Boeing 737 aircraft.
