Alaska Airlines Pledges $25,000 to American Red Cross in Support of Oso Landslide Relief Assistance

SEATTLE, March 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Alaska Airlines is donating $25,000 to the American Red Cross to assist in disaster relief efforts in Oso, Wash., following the devastating mudslide Saturday that killed at least 14 people and left dozens missing.

Donations will be used to help the Red Cross with search and rescue and disaster relief in the communities of Oso, Arlington and Darrington, located about 55 miles northeast of Seattle.

Alaska Airlines is also urging employees who would like to help people affected by the Oso mudslide to donate to the Red Cross. Up to $25,000 in employee donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the airline.
