WHAT: Alaska Airlines will hold a media briefing at Ted Stevens
Anchorage International Airport to introduce the airline's first
Boeing 737-400 cargo aircraft. The aircraft is part of the
airline's $100 million plan to expand and modernize its cargo
operation to meet the growing demand for its cargo services
throughout the state of Alaska and beyond. The first of five
larger cargo aircraft the airline will put into service by the
end of 2007, the all-cargo 737-400 provides 50 percent more cargo
capacity and more advanced flight guidance capabilities than the
737-200 it replaces.

Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport. Take the
International Airport West ramp and merge onto International
Airport Road. Turn left on Jewel Lake Road and take an immediate
right onto Old International Airport Road. Proceed just more than
one-half mile. Park in the cargo parking lot and display media
identification in dashboard of vehicle. Check in at the media
table.
