Kyle Levine

Executive Vice President, Corporate and Public Affairs, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary

As executive vice president, corporate and public affairs, chief legal officer and corporate secretary, Kyle is responsible for public and government affairs, including the company’s corporate philanthropy and sales and community marketing for the state of Alaska, in addition to overseeing legal, compliance and corporate governance functions. He sits on the Alaska Air Group executive committee.

Kyle has held the chief legal post for 10 years and led the legal functions for the Virgin American and Hawaiian Airlines acquisitions. He has held various legal roles within Air Group since joining the company in 2006 as a senior attorney.

Kyle is a member of the California and Washington bars. He earned a J.D. from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law (1997) and a B.A. from Stanford University (1994). Kyle previously practiced in the aviation litigation field with Nixon Peabody LLP (San Francisco office) and Mendes & Mount LLP (Los Angeles office). His legal education also included internships in the American Airlines, Inc. legal department and in the Federal Aviation Administration’s Office of the Chief Counsel.

Kyle holds a Private Pilot’s license. He serves on Lambda Legal’s National Leadership Council, and on the board of directors of the University of Washington School of Law’s Global Business Law Institute. Originally from the Denver area, Kyle and his spouse Craig reside in Seattle and enjoy swimming, traveling and spending time outdoors in the Rocky Mountains.
