WHEN: Friday, May 16, 6 a.m. Pacific time WHERE: Alaska Airlines Cargo Warehouse Seattle-Tacoma International Airport 2600 S. 165th St. Seattle, WA 98158 WHAT: The annual rite of spring continues as Alaska Airlines flies the season's first catch of prized Copper River salmon from Cordova, Alaska, to Seattle and points beyond. The first shipment is expected to arrive at the Alaska Airlines Cargo Warehouse at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport at 6 a.m. For the first time, the highest bidder in a Mileage Plan™ auction will meet the flight and receive the ceremonial first fish, a beautiful 40-pound king salmon, donated by Ocean Beauty Seafoods, along with a travel and prize package plus other amenities. The special online auction benefits Alaska Airlines' Charity Miles program.
