Hetty Gaeb was on dialysis for nearly four years, awaiting a donor kidney while continuing her job as an Alaska Airlines reservations agent. Little did she know one of her own co-workers was about to step in and help. After hearing Gaeb’s story, co-worker Carolyn Jenkins decided to give Gaeb a kidney of her own — and a second chance at life.

Jenkins donated one of her own kidneys to Gaeb six weeks ago. Today, both women are doing well. Members of the media are invited to meet them THIS FRIDAY, APRIL 27, at 11AM as they share their inspirational story and celebrate their good health during National Donate Life Month.

WHEN: Friday, April 27, at 11AM

WHERE: Alaska Airlines Seattle Reservations Center
Centerpoint Office Complex, Cascade West Building
           20829 72nd Avenue South, Floor 2, Kent, WA 98032

first time since their surgeries; Celebration will include

                           ***
"It's been an amazing journey," Gaeb said. "How do you thank
someone for something like that? It's not like giving flowers."
