  WHAT:           Alaska Airlines will fly up to 160,000 pounds of Copper
                  River salmon from Cordova, Alaska, to Seattle in a single
                  day, marking the opening of Copper River salmon season.
                  The first shipment, flown on Alaska's new Boeing 737-400
                  freighter, is scheduled to arrive at 6 a.m. The fish-
                  filled freighter will be led to the airline's cargo
                  warehouse by Alaska's "Salmon-Thirty-Salmon," a 737-400
                  passenger aircraft painted with the image of a 120-foot-
                  long wild Alaska king salmon. The fishmongers from the
                  World Famous Pike Place Fish Market will toss the first
                  salmon from the aircraft before the fish are presented to
                  seafood processors.
