Alaska Airlines Inaugurates Nonstop Service to Mexico From Portland International Airport

 Saturday's Flight to Los Cabos Is Alaska's First International Departure

  WHEN:      Saturday, Oct. 28, 8 a.m. Pacific time

  WHAT:      Alaska Airlines and Portland International Airport will
             celebrate the airline's new nonstop service to Mexico, and its
             first international flight departing Portland, with Mexican-
             themed send-off festivities. Alaska Airlines will inaugurate
             nonstop service from Portland to Los Cabos, Mexico, on Saturday
             with Flight 262. The airline will inaugurate nonstop service
             from Portland to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, on Sunday with
             Flight 264. The new routes are part of Alaska Airlines'
             significant Mexico expansion plan that will increase Mexico
             capacity this fall by 22 percent.
