2018 Dow Jones Sustainability Index North America

For a second year in a row, Alaska was ranked No. 1 for North American aviation on the prestigious 2018 Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI). In addition, Alaska also received top scores for corporate governance and efficiency.

Each year, the 3,400 companies included in the Index answer up to 120 questions focusing on environmental, economic, and social factors relevant to the companies’ success. The study has found that companies with strong performance in these areas are set up for long-term success. In other words, they’re sustainable.
